Kassius Ohno's fall from grace from NXT has been well-documented, but it was evident as ever that he had the potential to be a breakout star in the promotion when he went one-on-one with William Regal on the Apr. 10, 2013 edition of NXT.

For weeks, Ohno was a major thorn in the side of colour commentator William Regal, calling him out on countless occasions to do battle with him. Regal resisted the threat until it became too much for him to ignore and decided to teach Ohno a lesson by stepping between the ropes one last time.

When watching a William Regal match, you are guaranteed to not see anything flashy but instead simple, spectacular storytelling. Their in-ring styles meshed perfectly and it resulted in a masterpiece of a match. Despite not being an active member of the wrestling roster, Regal didn't seem to miss a beat, and Ohno proved his worth against the seasoned veteran with a phenomenal performance as well.

Regal's surprising victory over the up-and-comer showed he still had it, while Ohno managed to earn Regal's respect as well. This match may have been more fondly remembered had Ohno amounted to more success in NXT, but sadly, he never fulfilled his full potential.
