"I'll see you Sunday, movie star".

Think back far enough and you might remember John Cena sneering that line on the live mic mere days before wrestling The Rock at 'Mania XXVIII. Just over five years on, it was Roman Reigns' turn to say exactly that on the go home episode of Raw before working Cena at No Mercy 2017.

On the 18 September episode, Reigns cleverly mimicked Cena's pot shot at Dwayne Johnson and used his own arguments against him. In one particularly fun moment, Roman also called JC a hypocrite for failing to heed his own advice about ditching Hollywood and staying loyal to WWE full time. It was arguably the best promo of Reigns' career up until that point.

Nobody really remembers it.

In fact, some might not fully recollect Cena vs. Reigns at No Mercy at all. One of WWE's biggest cross-generational battles took place on a 'B' level pay-per-view instead of at 'Mania, SummerSlam or on another 'A' style card.
