It was a Leakee start.

The man who'd soon become Vince McMahon's fave made his first appearance on a WWE-branded show via the modest confines of Florida Championship Wrestling. On 19 August 2010, Roman bounded out to take part in a 15-man Battle Royal that would eventually be won by Alex Riley.

There will be WWE fans who barely even recall FCW. It was a precursor to NXT that didn't quite have that brand's magic; if anything, Florida Championship Wrasslin' came across as a mid-80s territory or low-rent independent. It's likely that most will have totally forgotten anything Reigns did there.

That'd include his one-off Tag-Team Title reign with Mike Dalton. Who was he? Why, he was none other than current NXT star Tyler Breeze. Also yes, it's absolutely weird to think that Breeze and Roman f'n Reigns were tag champs at one point.
