Never being scared of a new gimmick match, Shawn took part on the first ever tag team Submissions Count Anywhere match back in 2009's Bragging Rights PPV. The rules were exactly the same as a Falls Count Anywhere match, but with the added caveat of only being able to win by making one person on the opposing team submit. While the Submission Count Anywhere format didn't exactly take off after the match, everyone involved made the best of the freedom that the rules allowed. As the match progressed, the teams split into two one vs. one battles.
