10 Forgotten Theme Songs Of Well-Known WWE Superstars

1. Randy Orton - This Fire Burns

Two weeks.

For two weeks in 2006, Randy Orton came out to Killswitch Engage's "This Fire Burns". The reason for this is because he apparently hated his theme, Mercy Drive's "Burn in My Light" (though fans seem to universally agree that it's the superior Randy Orton theme). So, he had Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn listen to the band's album As Daylight Dies. They ended up buying the rights to the song, but Vince didn't think it fit with his character, so he bequeathed it to the debuting CM Punk and had Orton suffer through "Burn in My Light" for two more years.

Watching Orton come out to a song that became so synonymous with CM Punk for so long is just... strange. Say what you want about Vince McMahon, but this was a good call on his part - this song just didn't work with Randy Orton.
