Headed into his one appearance in TNA and penultimate ever match on North American television, Hawk rolled back the years alongside Animal in a quality beatdown of The Harris Twins on the 26th TNA weekly pay-per-view.

Running in during a Disciples Of The New Church beatdown of America's Most Wanted, the pair battered losers like it was 1986 and left the heels behind as deadwood for AMW to easily sweep away for the win. Hawk even flies off the top rope with a splash after the Doomsday Device and looks far more up for it than he did when the two got a surprise try-out on Monday Night Raw against Rob Van Dam and Kane.

It all fed into them donning the spikes for an eight-man tag alongside Dusty Rhodes and Jeff Jarrett against Triple X and Vince Russo. They lost that, and never appeared as a double act for the group again.
