10 Forgotten WWE Cameos From Major Stars Before They Were Famous

3. MVP (Policeman)

Did you know: Kurt Angle hiring personal security and police officers to look after his precious gold medals was inspired by real events? Angle revealed on his new podcast that some fans once stole his gold as he was signing autographs outside the arena.

That may have led to MVP's cameo here.

The future star, who has become vital to Raw's product over the past 12 months, played a phoney copper for Kurt on the 13 January 2005 edition of SmackDown. MVP didn't really do much, being honest; he stood around holding a little box for the medals, then watched Angle beat current NXT star Roderick Strong in a short match.

This was all part of Kurt's 'Invitational', and was early build for his bout opposite Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 21 a few months later. MVP officially debuted as a full-time member of the roster around 18 months later, and the rest is history.
