Serving as the precursor to Sami Zayn's capture of the NXT Championship that December, NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way's title bout was as perfect a fatal four way match as you could ever want.

Zayn, Tyler Breeze, Tyson Kidd and defending champion Adrian Neville crafted an admirable match to main event TakeOver in an era where TakeOvers weren't as special as they now are. It was WWE's fault, though; who was honestly going to tune in to a Hair vs. Hair match between Enzo Amore and Sylvester Lefort?

Nonetheless, this banged hard.

From Neville's utterly gorgeous Asia moonsault, to Breeze going on a rampage by taking everyone out via Beauty Shot, Supermodel Kick, and dropkick, there literally wasn't a moment to rest. While it did at times follow the multi-man trope of two guys in at a time while the others rest, this was only for short periods. When there were at least three involved at once, it was blissfully perfect.

Zayn diving onto Neville to eliminate the champion from the equation, and then rapidly scampering to Helluva Kick Tyson Kidd was also a class finish, made only better by the future Bastard yanking the referee out of the ring. This was genuinely impeccable, and should be a must-watch for wrestling trainees if they hope to perfect a multi-man contest.
