10 Forgotten WWE NXT TakeOver Classics

Overshadowed by the debut of Raquel Gonzalez, the TakeOver: Portland Street Fight between Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox is severely underrated.

The former tag partners aren't to blame for that, though. It went down on a TakeOver that most have forgotten even existed. Coming immediately after Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic's instant classic also didn't help the duo. Regardless, Kai and Nox still created a banger of a Street Fight.

This wasn't your typically bland WWE weapons-oriented match, either. They made use of all manner of weapons to get across the tone that they legitimately detested one another. Chairs and trash cans are symbolic of any WWE no disqualifications bout; chains and cricket bats, however, are not.

What made this remarkable were the spots on offer. Tegan placing a trash can over Dakota's head to perform a senton-esque strike was unusual and innovative, despite the slight botch on the actual execution. The same goes for Dakota taking a f**king sick German suplex onto a trash can; it looked beautiful, but the trash can barely dented. While not a botch per se, it heightened the riskiness.

It's a shame this match - and this TakeOver in general - has been forgotten about almost entirely, but hey, a potential Women's Championship TakeOver bout awaits them once Nox has returned from injury and Kai has inevitably pried the title away from Raquel.
