An incredibly well-rounded professional wrestler, Jamie Noble was assigned to WWE developmental following the 2001 WCW acquisition, and debuted on WWE television in June 2002. Working a trailer park gimmick alongside his on-air girlfriend Nidia, Noble fell victim to some offensively bad creative direction, but established a reputation as a solid wrestler who could adapt to any situation.

His first WWE run ended under a dark cloud when it was emerged that he’d used steroids to aid his recovery from a staph infection, but he made a return in 2005. Noble’s second run brought little success, however, and he was rarely used as anything other than an enhancement talent.

Noble’s Cruiserweight Title reign came in 2002. He was at the height of his powers, and while the gimmick wasn’t the world’s most tasteful, Noble squeezed every last drop of entertainment out of it. He officially ended his in-ring career when a series of nagging injuries caught-up with him in 2009, and immediately started working as a producer for WWE: a role he still occupies today.

Most recently, Noble appeared alongside Joey Mercury as J&J Security: Seth Rollins’ two stooge-like bodyguards during The Architect’s run with the authority. Though primarily acting as human shields, both men were hugely entertaining in their role, and many fans were disappointed to see their run end at Brock Lesnar’s hands in 2015.
