Here’s where things take a downturn. Prince Iaukea was an uncharismatic technician who found a home in WCW’s midcard despite possessing the charisma and star power of a soggy teabag. A student of Dean Malenko, Iaukea signed for WCW in 1995, and enjoyed a couple of incredibly brief spells as Cruiserweight Champion in 2000, neither of which were anything to write home about.

Iaukea is perhaps best known for his work as “The Artist”: a one-note Prince rip-off gimmick that flopped spectacularly, but did encompass both of Iaukea’s Cruiserweight Title reigns. Like many of his peers, Iaukea’s WCW contract wasn’t picked-up during the WWE acquisition, and he went back to the independent scene. Appearing most notably in Jimmy Hart’s X Wrestling Federation, who struggled to gain any real traction on the sport’s smaller stages, and moved away from the United States in the late 2010’s.

Today, Iaukea owns, operates and promotes his own company: 3SX Pro Wrestling. The company primarily runs events in American Samoa and New Zealand, and when he’s not doing that, Iaukea can be found working as a stunt performer and coordinator for motion pictures and television productions across the Pacific.
