10 Former WWE Stars Who Definitely Should Not Return For Brand Split 2016

7. Tommy Dreamer

Tommy Dreamer seems to make an annual surprise return to World Wrestling Entertainment, and this is undoubtedly best for all involved. Whilst the Innovatory of Violence is still a popular face and arguably the man who most embodied what was great about Extreme Championship Wrestling, that company died some 25 years ago now. It needs to be left to the bin of history.

Dreamer is an adept hand when it comes to short runs, but any continued presence on WWE programming would be detrimental to the company and the younger performers who could fill that spot. There would be no value in bringing Dreamer back to hit people with kendo sticks, when there are tens of individuals down in NXT who could be brought up to do the same.

Tommy Dreamer has already had enough nostalgia runs.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
