10 Former WWE Stars Who Definitely Should Not Return For Brand Split 2016

5. Mr. Kennedy

It could have been so very different for the man known as Ken Kennedy. By all accounts, the man who loved to tell you his name was in line for one of the biggest main event pushes in recent memory, one that would have began with him being revealed as Vince McMahon's illegitimate son and ended with a WrestleMania main event against Triple H, ostensibly for ultimate control of the company.

Injuries, suspensions, and slightly botched suplexes to Randy Orton put paid to all of that however, and in 2009 Kennedy was released. He then went on to TNA. where he had a respectably successful six year run. Kennedy (or Mr. Anderson, as he was known in TNA) was released earlier this year, with the rumoured reason being a failed on-the-spot drug test.

I doubt Kennedy is anywhere near WWE's list when it comes to potential returns, and neither should he be. I was generally a fan of the guy, but his suspension problems and assumed issues with top stars in the company (Orton and John Cena) would mean his return would just be miserable for all involved.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
