10 Former WWE Stars Who Deserve Another Shot

2014 was 'Animal' cruelty. Time to put things right.

CM Punk isn't on this list.

Why open things with that? Well, some wrestling fans repeatedly bring his name up when discussing which ex-WWE stars could make a bold return. Any time now, they say, completely forgetting the history of legal issues between Punk and his former employer, the fact he walked out on the company in 2014 or his failure to launch a credible MMA career since.

It'd be cruel to say Punk doesn't deserve another go-around in pro wrestling (he was a major name, after all), but he's unlikely to get one in WWE, hasn't shown much interest when asked in interviews, and things have moved on without him anyway. Besides, there are others in the queue ahead of Punk who have much more hunger for it.

They're the ones who merit another crack at the big time instead. Before going any further, it's important to note that you're unlikely to agree with everyone on this list either. That's fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Pay close attention though, because there are valid reasons for every single one included...
