After a successful run in Memphis (and a not so successful run in WCW) Dennis Knight wrestled for the WWE between 1996 and 2001. His first role, as a member of the Godwins, brought him a measure of infamy, thanks to the teams' habit of 'slopping' their opponents after their matches. After that gimmick ran its course, the team became Southern Justice, bodyguards of Tennessee Lee. But Knight's partner in crime, Mark Canterbury, was knocked down with a severe neck injury and forced to retire. Knight was without a partner, but he'd go on to have his most successful role during the company's hottest period. As Mideon, member of The Undertaker's positively evil Ministry of Darkness, Knight was all over TV. His matches were usually a chore to watch, but the Ministry gimmick was really over, so fans didn't seem to care either way. When 'Taker was benched in late 99, the Ministry disbanded and Mideon was left floundering on the weekend shows. The less said about 'Naked Mideon' - where Knight would come to the ring dressed in only a fanny pack and a thong - the better. He was released from his contract in January 2001. After working the indies, training students, a very brief 2004 comeback and wrestling a couple of dark matches for WWE in March 2006 (he reportedly looked awful), Knight decided to call it a day. These days, Knight works as a chef in a restaurant in Tampa, Florida.
