10 Former WWE Stars Who Have Surprisingly Normal Jobs
2. Ivory
Ivory was a constant fixture during the Attitude Era. After debuting in 1999 as the manager of the team of Mark Herny and D-Lo Brown, she went on to have memorable feuds with Tori, The Fabulous Moolah and Miss Kitty/The Kat. Towards the end of 1999 she began playing a more conservative character, protesting her inclusion in bikini contests and taken umbrage with Jerry Lawler. After a few months absence, she was back in the thick of it in late 2000, joining the PC group Right to Censor, who campaigned for morals. Ivory, cad in flesh-concealing black pants and white shirt, spent less time in 'jello pudding matches' and more time teaching the new crop of gals, such as Lita and Trish Stratus, how to work. As her in-ring career began winding down she found herself as a trainer on Tough Enough and as a host for WWE catch-up show Experience. When her contract ended in August 2005, it was not renewed, but Ivory didn't waste time sitting around and waiting for TNA to call. After a very brief indie run she opened an animal daycare/grooming business in 2007. Speaking to the Miami Herald in 2015, Ivory described her current vocation as 'I work with dogs and cats all day long. I work by myself, for myself. Im around 15 or 20 dogs every day of my life. Its just like wrestling'. Ivory can also be seen as a talking head on recent WWE Network shows.
