10 Former WWE Stars Who Have Surprisingly Normal Jobs
6. Rico
Rico Constantino worked a number of eclectic jobs before he decided to break into the wrestling business (at age 37): he was a paramedic, SWAT team member, bodyguard, Power Team member, children's counsellor with the Special Olympics and even an American Gladiator. The jack-of-all-trades signed a developmental deal with the WWE after just twelve professional matches, training at OVW alongside the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista and Brock Lesnar, before arriving on TV screens in March 2002 as the effeminate stylist of 'are they or aren't they?' tag team Billy and Chuck. Rico's WWE run could best be described as 'fun'. He jumped head-first into his characters and showed charisma that his contemporaries would take years to catch up on. Even his antiquated Adrian Street character somehow worked, thanks to his efforts. He was released in November 2004, which came out of the blue, since he had recently had a Tag Team Title run on Smackdown with reluctant partner Charlie Haas. After a disappointing tour with All-Japan (they under-paid him) he retired from wrestling and moved back into law enforcement. These days, Rico (who once took down a belligerent man on a plane during a WWE tour) is Sargent Inspector for the Navada Taxi Cab Authority and is a part-time District Security Officer with the U.S. Marshals.
