10 Former WWE Stars Who Have Surprisingly Normal Jobs
3. Scotty 2Hotty
It shouldn't be forgotten just how popular Too Cool were during the year 2000. Rikishi, Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty were the perfect midcard act for the era and always provoked a strong reaction whenever they performed. Scotty had some great years but, by the time the 'Ruthless Aggression' era came around, he seemed to be a laid by the wayside. A serious neck injury suffered in 2002 didn't help: the master of the Worm spent seventeen months out recovering and, by the time he got back, his act was old hat. For the next several years he was mainly used as an enhancement talent, working Velocity, dark matches and house shows. After being released in May 2007, he wrestled on the independent circuit and did international tours (as well as a few one-off appearances for WWE). While he still wrestles, Scotty has also tried his hand at a couple of other things, too. He was a personal trainer, a fire-fighter and EMT and now, after deciding against pursuing those careers, he sells real estate in Orlando, Florida.
