10 Former WWE Superstars Who Need To Return To NXT
4. The Dudleys
Bubba Ray Dudley's surprise return was one of the lone highlights of a woefully disappointing Royal Rumble match. Although there was so no D-Von to accompany him, it still raised hops that the Duds could be making a WWE comeback in the near future. Like Lance Storm, the Dudleys have also been training prospective wrestlers following their WWE releases in 2005, as well as working in Japan and TNA. The Team 3D academy has produced many TNA wrestlers (including Jesse Neal and Rob Terry) and some have also gone on to ink WWE developmental contracts or work in Japan. The Dudleys have seen and done it all in the business. There are few, if any, tag teams with more experience than them. NXT has a lot of great things going for it but it is, naturally, lacking in experience in some areas. One of the most glaring areas is the tag division, which is comprised of makeshift or inexperienced teams. Bubba and D-Von are still young (43 and 42 respectively) and are still working some indie dates after having left TNA. Why not draft them in for a programme with Blake and Murphy, for example? They're experiences, they're over and they would be a great asset to NXT.
