10 Free Agents Impact Wrestling Should Really Sign
1. Chris Jericho
Though Chris Jericho has previously stated that he'd refuse to leave the house for a non-WWE booking offering less than a six-figure payday, and is reticent to work for any of Vince McMahon's North American competitors, he recently stated a willingness to appear for the company. Him showing up in Toronto is extremely unlikely, but not an impossibility.
The two parties are already working together. Impact will send a contingent of wrestlers to the upcoming Jericho cruise, and it was revealed earlier this week that 'Y2J' played a role in Don Callis' hiring. That this relationship exists is encouraging, and if Impact's pockets are deep enough, booking Jericho should be an immediate priority.
It's hard to imagine the Canadian committing to anything long-term. The most feasible situation is likely one similar to his current agreement with New Japan, with 'The Alpha' making only sporadic appearances ahead of big matches. Still, it's Chris bloody Jericho. He's easily the biggest name Impact could conceivably get their hands on, and him appearing for a company once considered WWE's biggest rivals would make for one of the year's greatest shocks.
