Much like Erick Rowan, Harper has mostly been directionless since the breakup of The Wyatt Family last fall. Although he captured the Intercontinental Championship in November, his reign was short-lived, as he dropped the strap back to Dolph Ziggler the following month at the TLC pay-per-view. Having been a henchman of The Authority since then, he's competed against the likes of Rowan, Ziggler and Dean Ambrose, coming out on the losing end more often than not. Needless to say, the way WWE is currently using Harper (or failing to, more appropriately) is criminal; someone who is as talented as he is shouldn't be relegated to working WWE Superstars and Main Event each week. With the midcard as depleted as it is at the moment, it's mind boggling as to why they're not doing more with them, but a feud with Sheamus would be a step in the right direction. The two mixed it up in six-man tag team action last year, but never one-on-one. Their similar highly physical, hard-hitting styles would make for a brutal brawl and a refreshing feud. Despite his cartoonish character at times, Sheamus is a much better worker than some give him credit for; thus, an excellent match between them is essentially guaranteed, serving as a reminder to fans what great wrestlers both ruthless competitors are.
