10 Frustrating WWE Storylines That'll Never Have A Conclusion

1. Vince McMahon's Death

Vince McMahon has done literally everything possible with his insanely popular character over the years, but Vince would attempt to push the boundaries once again in 2007, as his limo would seemingly explode at the end of Monday Night Raw. Within minutes, WWE.com confirmed the death of Vince McMahon, causing fans to believe, for a short while at least, that the chairman of the WWE had actually passed away. Of course it was an angle, but it was one people found themselves incredibly attached to, curious where it'd go, or why, with most wanting to know who planned to kill Vince. Allegedly, the angle was supposed to go on for a while, possible up to several months, with Vince eventually appearing as a toughened version of himself who had come to confront his would-be killer. The 'fake son' storyline involving Hornswoggle which happened weeks later, is also said to have originally been a part of the angle, with Ken Kennedy masquerading as Vince's would-be illegitimate son to take over control of the WWE in his absence. The Raw on June 25 was supposed to be a memorial show in honor of McMahon, but the angle was halted by the real death of Chris Benoit. This caused Vince to end the angle on TV, with the June 25th Raw turning into Chris Benoit's memorial show. While the cancellation of this storyline wasn't necessarily WWE's fault, it certainly would have been interesting when played out.
