10 Frustrating WWE Storylines That'll Never Have A Conclusion
10. The Anonymous Raw GM
Strictly speaking, this storyline did eventually get a solution, but the climax was anything but satisfying and was ultimately just a joke, in every way. A few years ago when The Nexus was a prominent stable in the WWE, a new anonymous Raw general manager was implemented, so that the manager could not be threatened, attacked or manipulated into favoring the faction. The general manager would announce matches, decisions and verdicts via email, which would then be read out by commentator Michael Cole. Considering the manager was just a laptop for the most part, it drew a lot of heat alongside Cole's meticulously bland fashion in which he read the announcements. Over a whole year after the manager had been relevant at all, the WWE decide to finally give us an answer as Santino Marella looked under the ring, to discover Hornswoggle with a laptop. This wasn't really an answer to the question we had asked multiple times, this was just a ridiculous punchline from someone at creative. More than likely, is that WWE couldn't ever hire the person who they intended to be the general manager, often rumored to be Mick Foley, Triple H, or possibly even JBL. In that regard, the storyline is still well and truly unresolved and shall always be unresolved, as Hornswoggle's reveal was more of a self-cariacature than anything else.
