I can't quite put my finger on it, but there was something different about the post-WresteMania RAW crowd in 2013, from the first moment we entered the arena. Maybe there were more Europeans in the building than in previous years or the fanbase were looking for something new and fresh after a particularly dull WrestleMania. As Alberto Del Rio lay injured after his handicap match with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter, everyone was on their feet hoping that it meant a Dolph Ziggler cash-in. Alberto's Mexican Bret Hart gimmick was dying on its arse and the audience loved the Show-Off. I had my eyes glued to the entrance way as Del Rio's music played. Suddenly, a camera man ran up the aisle way and pointed his camera to the curtain. This was it, Ziggler was coming to cash-in! Five seconds later "I'm Here To Show The World" blared through the speakers and New Jersey came unglued. That whole show felt like the beginning of something exciting. Dolph Ziggler became the World Champion, the crowd let the company know they'd had ENOUGH of Randy Orton vs. Sheamus and The Shield interacted with The Undertaker. Many crowds have tried to replicate this organic New Jersey crowd and not managed it. Being in the arena for that show was an absolute blast and a great finish to a fun weekend.
