10 Fun Facts From My Trip To WWE WrestleMania 30

4. Three Megastars Create An Iconic Moment

As WrestleMania XXX opened, I couldn't wait to finally hear Real American at a WWE pay per-view again and Justin Roberts didn't disappoint as he introduced The Hulkster as the host of WrestleMania! I'd love to say that he got a monster reaction, but the New Orleans crowd were more polite to the legend than losing their minds over Hogan.

Hulk then flubbed his lines by telling us he was glad to be in the Silverdome. The first time he did it, our whole section laughed at his blunder but when he said it a second time, boos began to filter throughout the stadium until Hogan recovered it. Then from out of nowhere the glass broke and Stone Cold Steve Austin marched down the ramp to confront The Hulkster.

Looking at these two icons finally squaring off face-to-face was a huge WrestleMania moment and everyone in the Superdome ate it up.

If that wasn't cool enough, then The Rock's music blared through the speakers and the stadium came unglued. One of Hollywood's biggest box-office attractions and a legend in WWE had returned to be a part of this awe-inspiring moment. The three WrestleMania headliners did their catchphrases, drank some beer and celebrated with the crowd to open the show.

It's one of my favourite WrestleMania moments. One of my friends was at the show and his sister was with him as she had tears in her eyes. She never thought she'd see these massive names together in the ring again. It was a moment for the ages.
