10 Fun Facts From My Trip To WWE WrestleMania 30

3. The Agony Of The Streak Ending

Going into the show, the only result that seemed certain was that The Undertaker would defeat Brock Lesnar and go 22-0.

What people don't remember too much is that the match itself was pretty horrible. 'Taker got a concussion just minutes into the match, meaning the work was laborious and the crowd just didn't connect with the bout. Fans around me were chatting amongst themselves or looking at their phones when Brock Lesnar hit the third F5.

I can recall like it was yesterday when that third F5 hit and I figured this is where the match would pick up and The Dead Man would valiantly be victorious. But instead, out of nowhere, The Beast went for the pinfall and got the 1-2-3. The stadium was silent and it was like someone had died.

Everyone was trying to scramble for theories as to what happened. Had the referee botched the three count? Was the match going to start over? Then the 21-1 graphic showed on the big screen and everyone was stood in utter disbelief.

After the match, we went to get a drink to recover from the moment when I saw a dozen people or so actually leave the show. Undertaker losing to Brock was such a bitter pill for them to swallow that they left the Superdome.

We can debate until the end of time whether it was the right decision for Brock to end the Streak but it was undoubtedly one of the most shocking moments in WrestleMania history.
