10 Funniest Botches In WWE Royal Rumble History

7. Jess Harvey

Has there ever been a more despised announcer than Mike Adamle in WWE history? Showing no aptitude for pro-wrestling, Adamle regularly made mistakes on-air and managed enrage, bemuse and befuddle fans. Having previously done announcing and hosting work for football and American Gladiators, WWE officials had big expectations for Mike. Unfortunately, the affable Adamle had no previous wrestling experience and it really showed. He didn't take long to make his first mistake, botching a popular wrestler's name on his debut with the company at Royal Rumble 2008. In hyping the Jeff Hard versus Randy Orton World Title match from ringside, Adamle referred to Jeff Hardy, one of WWE's premier babyfaces, as 'Jess Harvey'. That was it for Adamle, he was mocked by fans and WWE performers from that moment on. We're still waiting for Jess Harvey to debut. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeFiIl4i5lc
