10. Gerald Brisco Pins A Sleeping Crash Holly To Become Hardcore Champion
The Hardcore Title's 24/7 rule provided a lot of laughs during the Attitude Era. Crash Holly was the poster boy for the division. It worked great because Crash was one of the smallest guys on the roster, so his gimmick as the little guy that thought he was bigger than he was really allowed him to grow as a performer. When we think about him, we smile. He was very entertaining. One of the more entertaining title changes happened when WWE agent Gerald Brisco brought along a referee to take advantage of a situation while Crash was sleeping in the APA office. Crash figured he was safe there. Since the title was defended 24/7, it meant that the champ could be pinned at any time no matter where it was. Brisco covered Crash, won the title and did the quietest celebration ever without saying a word. It was hilarious because of how ridiculous it was. That was the Hardcore Title in a nutshell. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1xuw5_gerald-brisco-vs-crash-holly_sport What was not a funny Hardcore Title moment? Brisco vs. Pat Patterson in an Evening Gown Match. We wish we could forget about that one.
