It's such a silly concept to see a couple of grown men blowing kazoos on television and passing it off as entertainment, but Edge & Christian were able to make it work. During a number of vignettes that aired backstage during Raw, Edge & Christian brought streamers and kazoos backstage. Christian actually brought them to Edge. For their first performance, Christian played their theme song as Edge said "you think you know me" repeatedly. Triple H, who was in the room with Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle, told them to get out. That didn't stop them from performing. Christian started playing Triple H's song, back when he was using the "My Time" theme, while Edge did his best to sing the "My Time" lyrics off key once again. http://youtu.be/UEbzEEAOo78 Later in the show, they caught up to their buddy Kurt Angle (they formed "Team ECK" with Kurt) and tried to cheer him up by playing his song. With Christian doing the musical part, Edge added in the "Angle" parts to it when there was a break. Later in his career, Edge added in the "you suck" part to Kurt's song. They also did Chris Benoit's song too with some interesting lyrics: "Chris Benoit's here and he's really mad. Chris Benoit's here and he's angry." Since Benoit had a no nonsense kind of gimmick, it was the perfect counter to him. Years later, maybe it's not as funny for other obvious reasons. Edge & Christian provided a lot of laughs during the Attitude Era thanks to five second poses as well as other ridiculous moments. Their performance with the kazoos may have been their best work.
