10 Future AEW World Champions
6. Mr. Brodie Lee
It is important to take a step back and consider how weird professional wrestling is in 2020. Luke Harper leads a cult stable marshalled by the Super Smash Bros., the Beaver Boys are the faction's most visible underlings and Colt Cabana is a mooted prospect. Luke Harper and the Super Smash Bros. Think about that for a moment.
Mr. Brodie Lee has been an entertaining addition to AEW, albeit an entertaining addition that seems more interested in lampooning Vince McMahon than anything else. The Dark Order is the marmite of AEW, a decidedly hit and miss group that seems bush league to some and fascinatingly entertaining to others. The talents of the men who make up the faction have largely been overlooked.
Make no mistake about it, Mr. Brodie Lee is one of pro wrestling's elite big men. He may have fallen short in his first attempt at the AEW World Championship, but you don't get to the top of a cult without a hefty slice of perseverance. When he finally holds that glittering title above his head, the trials and tribulations of Jonathan Huber's career will be forgotten, for a moment at least.
