10 Future Roles For Current WWE Stars

10. Zack Ryder (Backstage Interviewer)

There's absolutely zero upward mobility for Zack Ryder in World Wrestling Entertainment as a wrestler. The man showed incredible spirit to get himself over without the help of the creative team, which oddly irked management. Instead of embracing his achievements, WWE seemed to feel irritated that somebody they hadn't banked on managed to become popular. Currently, Ryder is making appearances on NXT. There doesn't seem to be a spot for him on the main roster, which is a shame. When given the chance, the man can conduct a decent promo, but he's nowhere near the plans of the promotion's hierarchy at the moment. In short, Ryder needs to find another spot he can fill if he ever wants to get back onto Monday Night Raw, Smackdown or WWE Pay-Per-View. There are wore suggestions than turning him into either a pre-show analyst or a backstage interviewer. Previous wrestlers, such as Matt Striker and even Raymond Rougeau have done it before. On both occasions, it allowed those performers to stay in the spotlight and - more importantly - keep that money rolling in.
