10 Future Roles For Current WWE Stars

9. Xavier Woods (Full-Time Manager)

Through his work at ringside with The New Day, Xavier Woods has shown he can motor mouth with the best of them. That style of promo, popularised by the likes of Jim Cornette, seems to really suit Woods. The WWE cameras regularly zoom in on him as he delivers line after line of nonsense. It's not necessarily what the man is saying, it's how he's delivering it that's key. There's a real lack of effective managers in WWE right now. Paul Heyman stands out as the most potent, but there are few others who really spring to mind. Lana, Summer Rae and others rarely do much actual talking on behalf of those they're associated with. In essence, Xavier Woods could have found his true calling once he decides to call it a day as an in-ring performer. The art of the manager has been played down over time in the juggernaut promotion. That's a crying shame, because it can be such an effective character when it's allowed to be. Not every wrestler can talk at length, or even deliver their message effectively during a promo. Woods has shown he can, so why not capitalise on that and give him the chance to get others over too.
