4. Braun Strowman
How odd is it that Braun's only championship is the Raw Tag Team Championship... which he won with a ten year old?
We're talking about the man 2017 spent the entirety of building up as the biggest name in professional wrestling. Possibly Vince McMahon's greatest pet project, Braun unfortunately ended up falling to the wayside once again in 2018. Aside from Braun & some kid named Nicholas becoming tag champs and him eventually winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, it's been a fairly lackluster year for the 'Monster Among Men'.
That Money in the Bank briefcase can finally allow for that to change however. Holding the Universal Championship feels much more like a question of "when" instead of "if" for Braun. Eventually, the Roman Empire has to fall, and 'The Monster Among Men' will be there to pick up the scraps.
And if the whole Nicholas thing was proof of anything, it's that Braun can easily dip into the lower-to-mid-card while the main event scene is clogged up. Because of this, we can all but guarantee some entertaining mid-card squashes & an eventual Grand Slam Championship.
