CJ Parker's decision to request his release from WWE in 2015 was seen as a strange but hardly earth-shattering moment. It was a ballsy move from a kid who was at best a solid hand. Well, the man now known as Juice Robinson has earned every I told you so he feels like throwing out.

In what will one day surely be named as the defining moments in Juice’s young career he took on Kenny Omega - one of the best wrestlers in the world - on day fourteen of the G1. At that point, he hadn’t won a match since the first night when he’d beaten his mentor Satoshi Kojima. The chances of him being given the win over 'The Cleaner 'seemed slim to say the least. Particularly as he spent most of the tournament selling a leg injury caused by the hands of Minoru Suzuki.

Well, for the second time in his career Juice Robinson looked the odds in the eye and spat square in them. As Omega lifted him up for the One-Winged Angel, he rolled through and picked up a monumental victory. If you are ever feeling down go and find the clip of that moment, the joy on Juice Robinson’s face can turn the darkest day to light. It was an incredible vote of confidence for a wrestler who is very much in New Japan's plans.
