8. Mick Foley vs Ric Flair €“ I Quit Match

This isn€™t the last of Mick Foley being in an I Quit match on this list. (More on that Later) Ric Flair and Mick Foley were embroiled in a rivalry that was rooted in real life. Where Flair felt Foley was not a great wrestler due to his hardcore antics, and that he was simply a stunt monkey. As one could imagine, the legendary Michael Francis Foley begged to differ, and the two traded barbs over the years in their respective autobiographies. Finally the stars aligned and these two were finally able to settle their real life issues. It was a story line where both men shot directly from the hip, and had one of the most brutal encounters of all time at Summerslam 2006. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eStv6uU8kD8 These men traded barbed wire baseball bat shots to the face, barbed wire boards, barbed wire chops, slams on thumbtacks, and a ridiculous bump Foley took when he fell backward from the apron. The I Quit match only ended when Ric Flair, at the craziest he€™s EVER looked, threatened to inflict harm upon Melina if Foley did not quit. Luckily Mick did, or else this match would still be going on€8 years later.
