10 Genuinely Extreme WWE Moments From Before The PG Era

5. Shane McMahon Goes Coast To Coast

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jf7XlxHwej8 Skip to 2:46 Shane McMahon had a chip on his shoulder. He wasn€™t a trained wrestler so every match he ever took part in became a showcase for his toughness. Shane is one of the biggest dare devils wrestling has ever seen. From his fall from the titantron against Steve Blackman, to taking a belly to belly suplex through glass, Shane put his body on the line. However, his most incredible hardcore talent was his ability to hit a coast to coast maneuver. Shane would unleash this at Wrestlemania 17. In a street fight against Vince McMahon. In one of the most extreme moments ever, Shane laid a metal trash can on Vince€™s face and flew all the way across the ring with a dropkick that sounded off throughout the Astrodome. Over 68,000 people rose to their feet in unison. While Shane had performed elbow drops on the announce table before, this was completely unexpected, and showed guile, athleticism and above all, sheer brutality.
