2. John Cena - A 16th World Championship

Hold on, lower your pitchforks. Many of you will immediately disagree with the notion of John Cena equalling Ric Flair's legendary record, and it does feel inherently wrong in a way - a moulded, ultra-polished 'sports entertainer' matching the achievements of a classic, old-school wrestler. However, we might as well accept the fact that Cena will equal the record sooner or later, and the best possible outcome would be to simply get it out of the way. As mentioned previously, the WWE main event scene will become very cluttered once Big Match John and Brock Lesnar return to the fray. WWE would be taking a huge risk in delaying Cena's 16th reign for a year or two because who knows which upcoming superstars will be ready the title by then? A fairly short, straightforward reign is in order - preferably no longer than three months or so. WWE should put Cena over, shill all the '#sixteen' merchandise they want, and then get quickly move the title on to somebody else. One particular candidate immediately springs in mind...
