3. CM Punk Resents The Miz

Here's a fun one that bled into modern-day WWE.

They've squashed any lingering beef now, but there was a time when CM Punk and The Miz didn't have a ton of time for one another. Arn Anderson has openly discussed this on his podcast before. According to 'Double A', most of Punk's distaste for Miz stemmed from bitterness that Mizanin was headlining WrestleMania cards before him.

Punk wasn't the only one. The Miz had faced significant heat from members of the locker room since debuting, and that only intensified the closer he got to money matches against the likes of John Cena on shows such as 'Mania. Anderson noticed that CM was chief amongst the antagonists though.

A lot of that frustration would bubble over and become the catalyst for Punk's "pipebomb promo" later in 2011. Before that, he was grumbling to anyone who'd listen that The Miz was headlining the biggest pay-per-view on the planet.

Interesting, but not the last Punk involvement here.
