Excuse the profanity, but what the f*ck are WWE doing with Kevin Owens?
After getting jobbed out one time too many to Roman Reigns, KO is now just one of a multitude of bodies thrown into the Intercontinental title scene on SmackDown. While he'd be a worthy champion if he comes out on top, feuding over a midcard title feels like a definite step down from where the Prizefighter should be at this stage in his career.
Wrestling fans love Owens. If you need proof, go back and check the monstrous pop he received at WrestleMania 37 for dropping Logan Paul. Yes, anyone who thumped the infuriatingly smug YouTuber-turned-boxer was guaranteed a good reaction, but only a star of Owens' calibre could have got the sustained roar that greeted his stunning of the elder Paul brother.
People desperately want to cheer Owens but ever since his uneven Universal Title run four (four!) years ago he's been mired in the midcard, yet another victim of WWE's inability to maximize its incredible roster.
