5. Repetition Leads To Apathy
On May 14th, WWE stalwarts Natalya and Tamina defeated Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to win the Women's Tag Titles in a legitimate feel-good moment. Then the teams faced off again on RAW three days later, before having a Trios match on Smackdown that same week. And now all four women will face each other again on RAW for the Tag Titles.
Four matches in ten days. That's... insane.
What other sport would this happen in? Or TV show? It would be like watching Lebron James' Lakers having a weekly showdown with Stephen Curry's Warriors, or having the Mountain fight Gregor Clegane every other episode on Game of Thrones - special moments rendered meaningless through mind-numbing repetition.
No wonder WWE's ratings are plummeting. Why should anyone care about missing an episode of RAW or Smackdown when WWE will be showing the same goddamn matches on next week's show?
