10 Great AEW Wrestlers Who'd Be Better Off In WWE

5. Skye Blue

Beyond some recent, semi-competitive singles bouts with Jamie Hayter, Skye Blue really hasn't done much of any real note since joining AEW. Predominantly booked as a jobber to the stars, Blue's still managed to impressively forge an audible connection with the AEW faithful. Curiously, she often garners considerably louder reactions than better-known vets like Madison Rayne and better-established acts like Red Velvet.

With this surprise audience connection in mind, the still rather green Blue should be on the cards as a longterm project for AEW's women's division. Considering the often spotty booking of the women's scene this year though, it's hard to say such attention to detail for the undercard workers will really be implemented.

In NXT, Skye Blue would be given the breathing room and trainee-friendly environment necessary to keep developing her work rate at a sensible pace. Similarly styled young stars such as Cora Jade have already made leaps and bounds in finding their voice and style under HBK and co.'s watch. As a likeable underdog, Blue would be an obvious, heat-building foe for extroverted heel acts such as Tiffany Stratton and the Toxic Attraction crew.

As Liv Morgan's explosion in popularity over the last year has shown, WWE still do have a knack for building up likeable, if rather outmatched, babyface stars from time to time. A move over to developmental before an eventual main roster run could be just the ticket in Skye Blue's case.
