10 Great AEW Wrestlers Who'd Be Better Off In WWE

4. Powerhouse Hobbs

P-p-p-p-p-Powerhouse Hobbs has simply jobbed way too much since joining AEW for a man of his intimidation factor and, well, power.

A menacing big man with a nice, explosive snap to his wrestling moves and strikes, Hobbs' only really major win this year was his surprise squash of Ricky Starks at All Out. In the meantime, he's jobbed to stars half his size, such as Orange Cassidy and Dante Martin, and rarely secures much mic time to expand on his current heel persona bar recent weeks with Samoa Joe and Wardlow.

With all the potential in the world, Hobbs is still surprisingly green between the ropes when it comes to storytelling, unless he's working with a seasoned veteran. A trip to WWE's Performance Centre would likely help him iron out his deficiencies in the ring and on the mic by simply giving him more time and attention to work on them.

From there, a bump up to the main roster as a more polished pro could see the sky be the limit for this underrated big man. Notorious for being the land of the giants over the years, WWE seems like a more naturally fitting habitat for an old school strongman-style worker like Hobbs than the fast-paced, high-flying, often hardcore stylings most synonymous with AEW's ring action.
