10 Great AEW Wrestlers Who'd Be Better Off In WWE

3. Ethan Page

Until his recent work with The Firm, Ethan Page was seriously struggling to find much footing in AEW beyond being Scorpio Sky and the now-seemingly-missing Dan Lambert's buddy. A funny, energetic promo, the Taekwondo black belt found himself mostly looking up at the lights in the ring despite his obvious charisma.

A shoot promo back in August saw Page be quite understandably miffed with his position in the promotion. The problem was it made no sense in kayfabe where he was still best known as Scorpio Sky's funny friend.

Since then, following a brief absence from TV, Page has returned as one of the more over members of The Firm. It seems his shoot promo and general quality of work this year have made enough of an impact that the AEW faithful are taking note of his talents and giving him solid reactions. However, it's left him in an odd place character-wise, and his sudden winning ways aren't hugely convincing after a year of mostly jobbing.

While he wouldn't be challenging Roman Reigns tomorrow in WWE, Page's comedic timing and generally brash presentation would likely win him some fans backstage where the louder, often more charmingly silly, heel archetypes are still emphasised. With a return to a more clearcut, less shoot-oriented persona, Page could easily be operating at the US/IC Title level as a fun heel act ala The Miz and LA Knight.
