1. Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat - Clash Of The Champions (April 2, 1989)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rk8dQCJoCN4 1989 will forever be remembered by pro wrestling fans as the year that three of the greatest matches of all time took place. It was that year that Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat faced off in the historic trinity, with the first match coming at the Chi-Town Rumble, the second at Clash of the Champions and the third at WrestleWar. The NWA World Championship was in play and this only heightened the drama of the rivalry itself. Flair was the rich and arrogant playboy, while Steamboat was the humble family man and the two men were natural adversaries. When they touched, they made magic and to this day, the work they did in 1989 remains the best of of both men's careers. Fans ask a lot of their stars; they want intensity, fast-paced action and great wrestling. Ricky Steamboat versus Ric Flair provided all of that and much more and this match in particular stands out as the best of the three to many. No other duo has arguably ever matched Flair versus Steamboat and perhaps none ever will.
