10 Great Retired UFC Champions Not In The Hall Of Fame
3. Henry Cejudo
Henry achieved elite status when he became only the fourth simultaneous multi-divisional champion in UFC History. First, winning the Flyweight title in Decemver of 2017 vs the longest reigning UFC Champion of all time in Demetrious Johnson and defending the belt in January of 2019.
Henry then vacated the Flyweight strap when he moved up a weight class to win the Bantamweight title in June of 2019 at UFC 238 vs Marlon Moraes. After recently defending his Bantamweight title against future Hall of Famer Dominick Cruz with a TKO victory on May 9th of this year, Cejudo decided to call it a career during the post fight interview, to the shock of most, if not all in attendance.
Having gone 10-2 in the UFC at only 33 years of age, and having shown little sign of slowing down, its not out of the question that a return to fighting could be in the cards for the right pay day. Even still, with a career that saw him beat the biggest names in their divisions, go 4-0 in title fights in 2 divisions, and earn 4 “of the night” bonuses along the way, it would be impossible to leave Henry Cejudo out of the Hall as soon as the UFC brass deem him eligible.
