6. The Briscoe Brothers
One of the most popular teams outside of WWE for more than a decade, it's something of a surprise that Jay and Mark Briscoe have never got a call to appear in NXT.
While that may have something to do with Jay's questionable Twitter habits, 'Dem Boys' are surely one of the most decorated tag teams never to step foot in a WWE ring.
The brothers have competed for Ring of Honor since the promotion's very first show and remained loyal to the promotion through all its ups and downs, holding the ROH tag titles a whopping eight times and Jay capturing the world title belt twice. This year they started working in NJPW, winning gold there too, on top of previous reigns in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Essentially, the Briscoes have achieved everything possible on the independent scene and an NXT call up is long overdue. With their understanding of tag team fundamentals and incredible move-set (although we doubt the Spike Jay-Driller would be permitted in the WWE system), these two need to be given a shot in Full Sail ASAP.
