10 Great TNA Matches You Completely Forgot About

2. Chris Harris Vs. James Storm - Sacrifice 2007

Time has not been kind to the team of America's Most Wanted. When most people think of James Storm and tag team wrestling they will automatically think of Beer Money and Robert Roode, and with good reason. Beer Money were as iconic a team as TNA had after all. When people think of Chris Harris (if they do at all), they mostly think of Braden Walker.

Those people will be surprised to know that at one point, Chris Harris was poised to be TNA's big breakout singles star. When America's Most Wanted finally split in 2007 the former partners embarked on a vicious blood feud, one which came to an end in a truly bloody Texas Death Match at Sacrifice 2007.

This was brutal. Not just in the usual sense of the world, but for TNA fans at the time this was an emotionally brutal match. This wasn't about titles, it wasn't even about pride. It was two men who had been through everything together only for one of them to throw all of that away. Simple, yes. Effective? Oh hell yes.

The match is full of plunder as both men are busted open big time, and the finish was beautifully done too. Both men had a beer bottle in their hand, but Harris was able to hit Storm first and pick up the win. Roode and Storm may have had the better tag team, but Harris and Storm had far and away the better blowoff match.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
