10 Great TNA Matches You Completely Forgot About

6. Douglas Williams Vs. AJ Styles - Final Resolution 2010

Come on, it was Doug Williams vs. AJ Styles, of course it was going to be good. This was for the TV Title, and the story was that Williams had recently split with Ric Flair's Fortune group. Williams' TNA is another that gets overlooked, especially his work throughout 2010. He got a push too, albeit a fairly stop start one.

It is also easy to forget just how over the Chaos Theory Suplex was (and probably still is). For such a simple (in theory) move the thing always gets a reaction, and it pretty much spells instant death for whomever gets hit with it. If Doug Williams hits you with a Chaos Theory on the floor? Nah, that's it mate.

From that point on, the outcome was a formality. Doug Williams became the new TNA TV Champion.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
