10 Great WCW Moments No One Ever Talks About

4. Chris Jericho Gets Lost

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHLlHZ1j5Fs Anyone who has read Chris Jericho's book knows that he is a huge fan of the movie Spinal Tap. There is an infamous scene in the movie where the band is walking around backstage and trying to find their way out to play the show. They keep yelling "Rock and roll!" but keep getting lost in the various backstage areas. It's hilarious and a classic scene, so Jericho felt it was only natural for him to pay tribute to the scene in WCW. Flanked by his personal security guards, Jericho tried to make his way out to the ring to face Bill Goldberg but, unfortunately, found himself outside in the parking lot. Yelling "Hello, Wichita!" and "Rock and roll!", Jericho acted like such a whiny baby but was so over-the-top entertaining that he was almost impossible to hate. When Jericho finally did find his way to the entrance aisle, he posed for his pyro and...it didn't go off. Jericho immediately had a temper tantrum and kicked his pyro like a 4 year old child before composing himself while the announcers laughed at him. Jericho was one of the few workers to understand that heels can't always be cool or tough. Sometimes a heel needs to be whiny and cowardly so fans want to pay money to see him get beat up. Even though Jericho was supremely entertaining, he never forgot that he was a heel and should have no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
