When Matt Hardy went "Broken" in 2016, it made him and his brother Jeff the hottest act in all of wrestling. This was good news for their employers, TNA... until the team left the promotion in 2017.

Before they ended up back in WWE, The Hardys made a quick pit stop in Ring of Honor, which involved a feud with The Young Bucks over the promotion's tag team titles. Matt and Jeff won the belts at Manhattan Mayhem and then lost them back to Matt and Nick in an superb Ladder War and Supercard of Honor XI.

Once Matt Hardy ended up joining the Bucks in AEW, it was only a matter of time before Brother Nero joined him. Once Jeff arrived, the brothers went after the Jacksons once again, beating them in a match at Double or Nothing 2022.

Plans for a longer feud between the two were halted by a combination of Jeff getting injured and then arrested. The two groups of sibling had one more match in 2023, before both Hardys left the company to rejoin TNA.

These two generational teams only had very brief interactions, but when they were good, they were fantastic.
